Sheezy won't lemme change my artist name, so on here it stays as Levryu - but I'm changing it to BroXas. Download my newer tracks here! http://soundcloud.com/broxas
Now I have a Dell that's slightly newer, still need a good soundcard apparently though... lol! I use FL Studio 10, was thinking about switching to a new program to try things out but I'm comfortable where I'm at, so maybe in the future.
I hate when a challenge looks too epic to overcome, usually this is what keeps me going.. though now I have nothing but close loved ones surrounding my life, I can stay within the light that Miramine's shown me.
I have the best motivation ever, all I need now is time to compose and time to improve, which, for some reason I never seem to stop improving. ;D
Thanks for the favorites!posted Jan 27th 2012, 4:21PM
Mood: Determined
I've been at this for almost two years now (starting this April), and I think I've come a long way in terms of style and skill since I started! Keeping my tracks updated by making newer versions has really helped me learn how to develop my style and sound. I couldn't have gotten this far without support and feedback, so thank you everyone for helping me stay consistent!! ;D
You can draw some srsly epic dragons.. I'm jealous of your art skills lol! You should work for a video game company and start designing bosses one day.. that would be awesome.
oh-hoh! That is so cool, thank you so much! xD I'm actually going in 3d animation next year. It's my dream to work for a video game company xD No joke.
That's really good because you've got the skills for the job! What company were you thinking of trying to work with, or did you think of one or two already? I always kinda wanted to compose music for a video game company. xD I dunno if it'll ever happen but it would be pretty amazing. x3
Woah, that would be really cool if you could do music what kind of music do you produce?
I was thinking big at first; SquareEnix. But that's just a dream..I don't think I'll ever get there because it's a Japanese company and what not. Other than that, maybe Sony or at worst waltdisney. The idea doesn't flatter me as much (shivers at waltdisney) but it could be a start and I've always been told that it's a good place. Hard on the workers, but good place. Anywhere in the fantasy domain, I'd feel cool with.
I only compose random techno songs for now, but I've been told that I could probably make it to video game composer someday. I'd go for something like Capcom or Konami, hell even Square-Enix if they were hurting for composers that bad lol. You deserve to be part of a good company with your level of art skill, that's for sure.
Oh, definitely. So long as you can make the music with multiple layers of subtle nuances (and that make sense LOL), you'll be fuckin' awesome. I know you can do it, Lev'.
I'll keep trying, and I'll keep trying to perfect my older ones too, as time goes on. I could never delete my originals, and some of them are so perfect sounding already that I'll never update them. This is something that's allowed me to monitor my own progress, which is helping me learn faster. Shit's awesome bro!
I don't remix anymore because I feel like I've surpassed that point, but if you ever want a remix done just ask, I'm sure I could make something quite badass these days. Thanks for saying that haha, you already know that I'm not good at giving up so we'll see where this takes me, in time.
